The Cruelty-Free Review

A review of compassionate products, foods, and recipes

About Me

I’m Reia, and I live in Colorado with my boyfriend and 2 fiesty rescue cats. I am a recent vegetarian convert (since July 2011), and I am transitioning to a vegan diet. I have been using cruelty-free products for years, and I wanted to share my passion with others and to spread the word about living a compassionate life. I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing video games, provided I have time to do any of that! I am currently in school to become a nurse.  I hope you enjoy my blog!

  6. Hey Reia! How’s your vegan transition going? I went vegan just over a year ago, and I love it! It’s made such a difference in the way I look and feel. I’m now transitioning to a vegan lifestyle (no leather etc.). Anyway, I’m so glad I discovered your blog from the Virtual Vegan Pot luck. Celeste:)

    • Hi Celeste! Thanks for stopping by; I hope you come back often!
Congrats of going vegan! My vegan transition food-wise has been slow, but steady. I’m not there yet, but I will be eventually! As far as the lifestyle part, I have pretty much eliminated any non-vegan products as much as possible. I still have some leather accessories, but those were bought before my transition. Good luck on your transition and I hope you can find some helpful information here. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions!
